For the Love of Carson and the Fil-Ams


Aside from the its own food giving projects, the officers and members of the Board of Directors of the Filipino-American Press Club of California (FAPCCA), led by its president Benny Uy  actively participates in charitable works and food giving activities in greater Los Angeles  area during this time of  COVID pandemic. 
Recently, FAPCCA officials participated as sponsor and volunteers in the Drive-Thru Food Giving Project organized by Carson Council member Jim Dear, Mayor Pro Tem. food establishments. The event was held at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson City from 9:00 a.m. to 12: noon. Hundreds of residents in Carson and South Bay got boxes of foods. There are many Filipino-Americans in Carson City and we hope that they felt the love of their fellow Filipino Americans in this time of crisis.  [
